ELECTRICAL MEASURING INSTRUMENTS:
List of Problems:
1. A galvanometer has a resistance of 25 Ohms and it deflects full scale when a current of 10mA flows in it. How it can be converted into an ammeter of range 10A?
2. A Galvanometer whose resistance is 40 Ohms deflected full-scale for a potential difference of 100mV across its terminals. How can it be converted into an ammeter of 5 ampere range?
3. The coil of galvanometer which has a resistance of 50 Ohms and a current of 500 micro amperes produces full-scale deflection on it. How it can be converted into (a) an ammeter of 5 ampere range and (b) a volt meter of 300 volt range?
Remember: more are still to come...
